During the pandemic, Aiken4adventure was born, sparked by our trusty Lexus GX470, affectionately named Groot. This was our escape route, a way to venture out and stay distant from the world’s troubles. And yes, it’s a clever nod to our last name! Traveling has always been our passion, and overlanding became our new love during the pandemic.
We’ve discovered some incredible spots along the way. Colorado’s rugged landscapes, Yosemite’s breathtaking beauty in California, the stunning Dolomites in Europe, and soon, the captivating wilderness of Chile in South America. Our adventures range from camping under a canopy of stars to indulging in luxurious hotels, savoring the thrill of hot air balloon rides over majestic mountains, and hiking to awe-inspiring waterfalls (despite the uphill struggles).
